The Berlin Open Lab offers a variety of coworking and research areas. Each research team has a working area at its disposal, which can be freely arranged and adapted according to their needs with various rearrangeable equipment: shelves with dividers, pinboards and layerable whiteboards and basics like desks and chairs.
A group-workshop space and a library, equipped with flipcharts, creative materials and books, offer space for up to 20 people, while test setups and presentations with demonstrators can take place in the open area next to the entrance. In addition, a fully equipped meeting hub and a phone both enable hybrid workflows, whereas for concentrated work and more privacy there are flex-desks with visual and noise protection available. Common areas such as the café and kitchen offer room also for informal exchange and even collective cooking sessions.
